For example, I compared cotton, polyester and mixed fabrics for similar clothing items. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. Cheap frames can look nice at first but bend easily or become loose after a few weeks.

Some charts are very generic and do not match real measurements at all. In the past I have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. If the first order goes well, I slowly try more products from the same place.
