I also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed.

I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly. Some care only about style, others focus on comfort and durability. When it comes to eyewear, the small details really matter over time. For coats and blazers I usually go one size up if I want to layer sweaters under them.
